Nutrition facts: 200 Calories 20 grams Fat

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup warm water (approximate)
  • Sat to taste
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Take whole wheat flour in a deep bowl, add two tsp oil, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add warm water and start kneading the dough. The dough should be semi soft too not too stiff and not too soft.
  • Let it rest for 30 mts.
  • Again take a tsp oil between palms of your hands and again knead the dough till it becomes soft.

Single Layer Roti

  • Take small bowl from the dough deep in dry flour and roll in oval shape.
  • Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour, squeeze it in between and fold the two sides together.
  • Again deep in dry flour and roll like roti.
  • Dry roast from both the sides.

Two Layers Roti

  • Take small bowl from the dough deep in dry flour and roll like poori.
  • Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour and fold it in to half to form a semi circle.
  • Again Apply some oil and sprinkle some dry flour and again fold to form a triangular shape.
  • Deep in dry flour and roll like a roti in round shape.
  • Roast from both the sides.

Notes

  • Roll rotis evenly from all the sides.
  • Apply minimum flour while rolling the rotis
